I hadn't been on in a while, but I see the site is back and better than ever! With the possible exception of the arcade, but whatevs... :D
I had an exciting weekend... I was actually GONE for most of it, leaving the girls home with Ben for long stretches! He seems to do better watching them than he used to... Heh. I gave a short talk at a women's conference in Kansas City on Friday, which was quite cool! Got to see some old friends I'd not seen in something like 5 years, so it was all around a good time!

I also had a cake order this weekend for a 14 year old's birthday. The only instructions I was given were, "Bright colors and zebra stripes!" So I obliged:
My sister (who is taking medical classes) decided it should be called "zebritis" My aunt responded with, "Yeah, that is definitely ZEBRITIS cake I've ever seen!" Heh.
I also had my very first official wedding cake tasting. It was fun, and it's looking like I'll get a decent size order... They were thinking of having Aunt Matilda (or whoever) make some cupcakes and just order a small wedding cake, but the bride is maybe thinking she wants something BIG and GRAND instead... I mean dang, weddings should only happen once... :D Anyways. We'll see how that goes.
And now I must think about getting some sleep.
